Here is the first finished project. There were lots of tension problems resulting in more mistakes than normally - there are always a couple, I think. But it will get sorted out.

This is how my new loom arrived: 80 cm Ashford, 8 shafts with 4 treadles.

KNITTERS' VISIT TO WILDERNESS
On Mother's Day we enjoyed the visit of 12 knitting friends from Pretoria.

When Doodler and Wingspan meet Noro
My Knitting Group "Knitters Unlimited" started a challenge - everybody is to knit their own version of Stephen West's "Doodler"
I used several left overs of Noro sock yarns. The pink and turquoise are my own hand-dyed sock weight Merino/Linen mix.

RIGID HEDDLE LOOM WEAVING
The tunic was woven on a space dyed warp - burnt orange and denim - with white sections. The weft was clasped denim and white.\
