Wild Fair Isle Knitting at the FIBRE BREAK AWAY 6-11 September 2015
WILD FAIR
ISLE KNITTING - COURSE
Participants should be intermediate to
experienced knitters
"Fair Isle” differs from “Intarsia” by
using only two colours per row/round of knitting while Intarsia uses many
colours per row.
I’ll show you the two-handed way where you
use your left hand for one colour and your right hand for the second colour.
You can then decide whether you want to use
traditional patterns or try my Wild Knitting style playing with patterns and
omitting the serious counting.
